GATE 2017 Recruitment

Overview :

The gate is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is conducted by the seven IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee) and IISc. These are top most colleges of India who offer the Post graduate courses and Ph.D. courses to B.TECH/B.E graduates through GATE EXAM. The GATE 2017 will be conducted by the IIT Bangalore. In GATE exam, aspirants can only apply for one of the disciplines from 23 streams. Many PSU’s and private company’s recruit’s candidate on the basis of their GATE score. The GATE exam is used to analysis technical skills as well as mathematical and logical skills. The gate score is valid for three years afterward marks will expire.

About IIT and IISc: The IIT’s and IISc is the autonomous public colleges which provide higher education to the students in India. These institutions are controlled by Institutes of Technology Act, 1961 implemented by the government. There are total 23 IITs are located across the country. The first Indian Institute of Technology is IIT Kharagpur and it is started in 1951. This year GATE exam is conducted by IIT Bangalore campus. Every year the registration of candidates crosses 6 lakh in the counting of registration forms and around 5 lakh students appear for the exam (approximately).We like to draw your attention towards the most important factor, which is eligibility criteria GATE 2017.

Eligibility Criteria :

In order to satisfy the fixed standards of IITS, we have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of GATE 2017.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

•    The aspirants must have a B.TECH/ B.E./Pharm/ B.Arch. degree from a government recognized University.

•    The aspirant who has Master’s Degree in from any stream Science and mathematical stream, as well as B.sc, can apply.

•    The aspirants who are pursuing graduation and are in final year of graduation are eligible for GATE but they have to take NOC from their respective colleges.

•     Diploma Holders in any field are not eligible for the examination.

AGE LIMIT

•    There is no upper age limit in GATE EXAM but they should have their graduation degree with them.

Minimum age required- 21years

NATIONALITY

  • Nationality of the candidates should be Indian.

•    If you are considered in any reserved category that you must have to upload original certificate regarding it.

•    Fill all the data correctly.

•    The last step will be of payment.

•    Then after payment confirmation message is being sent to you in your mail account.

•    You have successfully submitted your application.
