Candidates, who want to apply for the JEE Advanced 2017 exam, We want to inform them the JEE Advanced Application Form 2017 is now available online to fill. The online registration is started from 28th April to 2nd 2017 (5 PM). However, the JEE Advanced 2017 Registrations with late fee will be open from 3rd May (10:00 AM) to 4th May 2017 (5 PM). The JEE Advanced 2017 application form has been released via online mode, so candidates cannot apply via the offline procedure. The JEE Advanced 2017 application process will comprise with three basic steps, in which filling registration form, paying registration fees, and uploading scanned certificates steps available.

Candidates must have to fill all the required details in the JEE Advanced application form 2017 because it is must be valid. Candidates are advised to pay the application fees as per their specific category. Candidates who score as per the JEE Main Cutoff will be eligible for the JEE Advanced 2017 registration. They should once read the JEE Advanced eligibility criteria before apply.

Note - The unregistered applicants will not be allowed for participating in the admission process after the JEE Advanced 2017 examination. Candidates may fill and register for JEE Advanced Application Form 2017 From here or via jeeadv.nic.in/.

JEE Advanced 2017 Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates are suggested to ensure that they are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2017 registration or not. The candidates should be eligible as per the below given eligibility criteria.

Class 12th Performance: Candidates who are going to appear for JEE Advanced 2017 exam have to clear 12th class with minimum 65% marks (for (SC/ST/PwD) and 75% marks (for Gen/OBC).

JEE (Main) 2017 Exam Performance: Applicants must be among the top 2,20,000 (including all categories) by scoring positive marks in JEE Main 2017 Paper-I.

However, applicants those 12th Class (or equivalent) exam result ware declared after June 2015 for the academic year 2014-15 they are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2017.

Age Limit: The applicants must possess the age on or after 1st October 1992. Five years age relaxation will be provided to the SC/ST category applicants. The SC/ST applicants should have been born on or after 1st October 1987.

No of Attempts: The applicants can appear in the JEE examination maximum 2 times in a consecutive years. Those appeared the JEE 2016 examination are also eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2017 exam.

How to fill JEE Advanced Application Form 2017?

The JEE Advanced 2017 online registration form is now available from 28th April to 2nd May 2017. Candidates must have to fill and submit the JEE Advanced application form 2017 successfully to be registered for the admission process. All the steps to fill the application form of JEE Advanced 2017 are given below in details.

First Step of JEE Advanced 2017 Registration

  • First of All, Candidates have to click on the above-given link for JEE Advanced 2017 registration.
  • Candidates must have to log in by using their JEE Main 2017 Roll Number, Password and along with entering the security code.
  • After that, candidates have to submit their basic data that is include his/her choice of the examination cities, the language of question paper (Hindi /English), and so on.
  • The candidates also have an option of registering via mobile number other than the one offered in JEE Main 2017.
  • After that, the JEE Advanced 2017 new password has to be created. Candidates are advised to keep this password safely because it will be required for all the related updates.
  • The JEE Advanced 2017 Application Form cannot be withdrawn after completing the registration procedure. The application fee/ registration fee cannot be refunded or transferred.
  • JEE Advanced 2017 registration will be cancelled if candidates will not be eligible as per the required eligibility criteria.

JEE Advanced Password Guidelines:

  • The password has to be a combination of one lower case alphabet, one upper case alphabet, one numeric value as well as one special character like [email protected]#$%^&*-.
  • The Applicants must have to create a password that has to be 8 to 13 Characters long.

How to reset your password in case you forget:

The candidates may use the security question that answers chosen at the time of filling JEE Advanced 2017 registration form. OR The verification code sent by the text message to the candidate's registered mobile number. OR A reset password link sent via Email to the candidate's registered Email address.

Filling the JEE Advanced 2017 Online Application Form

  • The applicants will be redirected to a page comprising of his/her academic and personal details (from the JEE Main 2017 application) after the password is created at the time of registration.
  • Candidates need to enter his/her number of attempts of the JEE examination.
  • Candidates are needed to mention JEE Advanced 2017 Exam Cities. The chosen centres must fall in the same IIT zone.
  • Candidates will have to select the language of question paper (Hindi /English).
  • Those candidates need a scribe, they should mention it.

Second Step: Uploading Scanned Certificates

In the second step, the applicants will have to upload scanned copies of all required documents. The required document’s list that is needed to be uploaded at the time of online registration are mentioned below-

Size of Documents to Upload

  • Size of Signature must be greater than 1KB and less than 30KB
  • Size of Photograph must be between 4KB to 10KB
  • The certificate image must be greater than 100KB and less than 300KB

Documents to be uploaded by all candidates-

A color photograph of full frontal (face) view, with the head centered in the frame covering 70-80% of the photograph not taken earlier than six months. The photograph should be such that it allows clear identification of the applicant.

  • Scanned copy of full signature
  • Class XII (or equivalent examination) certificate (for those who appeared in 2017)
  • Birth certificate OR Class X certificate if the date of birth is mentioned on it
  • Gazette notification showing the change of name in case the name is not same as in class X certificate
  • Candidates must have to upload their caste certificate.

Third Step: Online Payment of registration fees

IIT Madras, the JEE Advanced 2017 organizing institute has released the registration fees for the applicants belonging to different categories. The JEE Advanced 2017 registration fees given below does not include processing fees, service charges, and any other bank charges.

Payment of Application Fee

  • Payment by SBI Debit Card/Internet Banking: The candidate has to click “Pay Registration Fee”, then the system will automatically redirect to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page. As per the candidates' convenience, they may select any of the available options like SBI Debit Card/Internet Banking. After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the “Registration Details” with UNIQUE Registration Number.
  • Payment by CASH using SBI Branch Option: The candidate has to click “Pay Registration Fee”, then the system will automatically redirect to State Bank Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page. In the case of Cash payment candidate has to select “SBI Branch” and system will generate the challan. The candidate has to take a printout of the system generated challan and take it to the SBI branch for making cash payment. After payment, candidates are required to visit this web page again and download the “Registration Details” with UNIQUE Registration Number.
  • Payment for SAARC and Non-Saarc Exam Centres: Those candidates who want to select the SAARC and Non-Saarc as the examination city are required to pay the registration fee as mentioned above through International Debit/Credit Card issued by Foreign Banks and issued outside India. Payment in US$ is not allowed through Debit/Credit Cards issued in India. After successful payment, the candidate will be able to print the “Registration Details” with UNIQUE Registration Number.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates must have to do registration to apply for JEE Advanced 2017. The registration must be done via online portal only.
  • The candidates should be eligible as per the eligibility criteria.
  • The candidate’s registration will be cancelled if they are not eligible as per the rules.
  • Once an applicant will apply for the JEE Advanced 2017 then he/she will not be able to cancel the registration.
  • Registration fee will not be funded.
