NDA is the national training academy. This academy gives army specific training to the selected candidates in the NDA exam. The NDA is the ideal institution for the best youth in the country who want to be an army officer. This academy is established on 7th September 1954 and founded by the Jawaharlal Nehru (ex-prime minister of India) on 6 October 1949. Likewise, every year, this year NDA 2017 exam is conducted by UPSC on 23 April 2017 across the country. This exam is organized two times in a year, NDA-1 in the month of April and NDA 2 in the month of September. All the details regarding NDA exam will be provided on the official website of the UPSC. Brief Note on UPSC: UPSC is established by the government of India (GOI) on 1 October 1926.It is the national sponsor who conducts the NDA.Its official website is www.upsc.gov.in where you can find all the notification regarding NDA 2017.  The headquarters of the UPSC is located in New Delhi, India. The current chairman of UPSC is Mr. David Reid Syiemlieh.

10+2 or its equivalent passed or pursuing from government recognized Institute or board.

Nationality

Candidates must have Indian Nationality. A Bhutan or Nepal, Tibetan refugee came to India before 1st January,1962 are allowed but they shouldhave the intention to settle permanently in India.

Physical standards

After written exam the medical examination will be held by the SSB to ensure, Candidates physical fitness. Medical tests like Gynecomastia, Tonsillitis, Varicocele, Overweight/Underweight, Undersized Chest, Piles, Wax (Ears), Deviated Nasal Septum, Hydrocele/ Phimosis.

How to Apply :

How to apply for NDA 2017?

  • Visit the official website www.upsc.gov.in
  • You will land on the homepage of UPSC, from there select NDA notification.
  •  Now click on the notification of recruitment process NDA 2017.

  •  Firstly, you have to fill part -1 which consist of your personal details.

  • Upload you scanned photograph and signature, in required column. This will appear in the Part-2 form.

Exam Pattern :

The exam paper NDA 2017 is divided into two section: part-1 and part-2.

Part-1 is consist of the mathematical part and part-2 is consist of the general ability. The total maximum marks are 900 and total duration is 5 hours. For every wrong answer in the section the marks will be deducted from the total score -0.83 for Math, -1.33 for English, -1.33 for GK and 2.5 for math, 4 for English, 4 for GK will be awarded for each right answer.

STIPEND OF NDA TRAINEE

Cadets selected in NDA 2017 will receive a stipend of Rs.21, 000/- p.m. (Rs.15, 600/- as pay in Pay Band plus Grade Pay of Rs.5, 400/-) during the entire session of training. The period of training is not treated as appointed service.

Selection Procedure :

After successful submission of the application form, finally, you have to download your admit card from the official website of UPSC.

1.    Firstly, when you will submit your application form, the confirmation e-mail will be sent to you.

2.    After some days, on the above-mentioned date, they will release admit card for NDA 2017 on the     UPSC website.

3.    To download the admit card NDA 2017, visit the official website www.upsc.gov.in

4.    Download admit card NDA 2017.

5.    Now secondly, you have to appear at exam center on the specified date of the online exam mentioned on your admit card.

6.    After successful submission of examination, answer copies. The results will be updated on the official website of UPSC.
