Latest Updates: The Staff Selection Commission has released a notification regarding the declaration of SSC CGL Tier-I Exam Answer Key. According to the new notification, the CGL Tier-I Exam tentative answer key on 18th September 2017.

SSC CGL 2017 Online Registration has been closed and the Staff Selection Commission has received total 30,26,598 on-line application forms for SSC CGL 2017 examination.

SSC has released new Corrigendum Notification for SSC CGL 2017 Post code H, I, W, and C Age Limit. As well as, the corrigendum notice is related to the vacancy name, and Number of vacancies of the Post code H, I, >, and S.

SSC has changed SSC CGL 2017 Tier-I Exam pattern. The duration of Tier I Exam has been changed from 75 minutes to 60 minutes, rest no of Questions and marks same as 100 Questions and 200 Marks.
"The SSC CGL 2017 Online Registration started from 16th May and it will close on 19th June 2017 and SSC CGL Tier-I exam will be scheduled from 1st August to 20th August 2017".

* Paper-1 & 2 are compulsory for all posts and Paper-3 is only for the “Statistical Investigator Gr. II” & “Compiler” Post. In addition to the Paper-4 is only the "Assistant Audit Officer” Post.

SSC CGL Tier-III Exam Pattern - Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)

The Tier 3 exam would be a descriptive type paper and would be held via offline mode. This exam will carry 100 marks and time duration of the exam would be 1 hour. The Paper would comprise writing of a Passage of 250 words / Essay and Application /Letter Writing of approx 150 words. However, for qualifying in the Tier-III exam, candidates would be passed with 33% marks.

Candidates, who are eligible as per the given SSC CGL education qualification, only those are allowed to apply online for SSC CGL application from 2017. However, who are not eligible as per the given educational criteria, are not eligible for the SSC CGL Examination. SSC CGL 2017 Age Limit:

Candidate’s minimum age should be 18 years and applicants age must be under the decided age criteria as per the SSC CGL Posts.

The Commission has changed the upper age limit to 30 years for the posts which code are K, L, M and P. The age limit should be read as "not exceeding 30 years" for Inspector (Central Excise), Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Examiner) under CBEC & the age limit for Inspector post (Department of Post) the age limit can be read as "18 to 30 years".

SSC CGL 2017 Application Fee - The required application fee is Rs. 100/-

No fee is required to be paid by female, ST, SC, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates. Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. For paying the Application fee in cash, applicants should be taken a printout of challan generated online after the completion the SSC CGL 2017 Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI as well as then continue with the SSC CGL Part-2 registration 2017. Candidates who want to pay the online application fee may go directly to part-2 registration after completing the part-1 registration procedure.

General Awareness: Questions in this component will be aimed at testing the candidate's general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Policy & Scientific Research.

Quantitative Aptitude: The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, Percentage.
